  1. Question Mutoh valuejet ink low beeping

It definitely sounds like the ink sensor lever in the cartridge dock is not working properly. These can either snap or fail over time, and will tell the printer the ink is low even when you put a brand new cartridge in. If it uses the same carts as Rolands ( I think it does, but not too familiar...
  2. Business evaluation

That table is a bit too generic and doesn't take into account the profit margins made in different industries. The profit margin a sign shop can make is very different from that a supermarket can make
  3. UV Transfers Onto Wood With PET Film

Clear laminate on the other ones you have seen maybe?
  4. Hey all new guy here

Yes, thats the only way to do it to get the shaping and fit correct. The good thing is once you have done it once, then you have the templates for future use, but making up a full template set for a race bike is typically a good full days work, then you need to scan them into the PC, tidy up...
  5. Hey all new guy here

Those are just image templates for mock ups, they don't actually make templates that fit the bodywork
  6. Question Mutoh, ink pulls back

Yep I agree, it is normally the O-ring or the nut that holds it isn't tight enough. If its not that then it could be the ink cartridge isn't seated properly to make a seal with the needle

  8. Hey all new guy here

I bet he said he can help you start at £100 a kit ! Yep, the only way to get templates that fit properly is make them yourself from the bikes bodywork. Road bikes have very few flat panels on them, so you can't really make them from 2D photos and get the fit correct as the printed shape will...

  10. Hey all new guy here

Also, what price is the person printing them charging you, and are they going to print them in high enough quality to keep the customers happy? You may find there is very little profit left in it for you compared to people who produce them in house so have much lower production costs
  11. Rant Vector drawing,,,Have we gone back 40 years?

One main reason I still use Corel X3 and have been pretty much since it came out. I know where everything is on there and how it works, so there is no need to upgrade as the newer versions don't really add any functionality. On the odd times I have to use Illustrator I hate it as I can never...
  12. Hey all new guy here

Nobody makes templates for road bikes, you would need to make your own from the bodywork for each individual bike, which is how the company who made the kit in the pic did it. Also wraps don't really work on road bikes as the bodywork is such complex shapes with so many contours, they are more...
  13. roland xc 540 problem print

Hi, when it does this 99% of the time it is either bad head cable, or the print carriage board is failing. The cyan head isn't getting the correct signal to tell it when to turn on or off, so it prints all the time over everything else. First thing is unplug the printer from the mains ( take out...

  17. filler sensor location on my roland truvis sg300

Have you looked at the exploded diagrams to see if you can find it on there? If not look where the wiring to the sensor comes from ( normally the servo board ) and then follow this to find out where the sensor is. I'm not familiar with the truvis, but it is most likely around the print dock area
  18. 35' RV Full Wrap Install Time

Send the best two on the installers course and then make them supervisors for the rest of the team on jobs. It sounds like none of them really know what they are doing, and nobody is in charge to crack the whip. Keep their basic pay but give them performance related bonuses for getting a job...
  19. RF-640 printing issues

The test print doesn't always show up problems as it only shoots the nozzles very briefly. Make up some artwork with 1 inch blocks each of C. M, Y and K and print those out, then look at the edges and see if they are nice and straight with no fuzziness or overspray which can point to a failing head
