Maybe not a fix for this particular issue but could yo install more memory? Is your system maxed out?
On another not what happens if you save as a flattened .pdf?
Depending on the 3M product as there are many there could be several reasons. A lot of time the polish used on stainless steel will mess with the material unless it's prepped correctly which is most likely the issue if the decals are just coming off. Something else to think about is the...
Thats odd, with my 570's we have great resolution, quality, detail and consistency on everything we've put through the machine. What type of material are you printing on? What type of projects are you guys doing where this is an issue?
So you say that you like having the bulk ink system, why not look at something like the HP570. We picked up 2 of them last year and have not turned back. The bulk ink system is awesome. The on board spectrophotometer helps with keeping consistent color. Profiling new material is easy and the...
I keep mine on the left side and never have a issue. I know that if you go to File and go down to Workspace you can create a custom workspace. This might be the issue as you might have it set to default.
Like the others said before, it depends on the file type. if you can try saving it to a flattened .PDF. This might help with size and still preserve quality. Also something that big should be able to get away with maybe 150dpi at full size.
I would never convert to raster unless I would really need to. example if there was an issue with transparent gradients or something in the original artwork that wasn't coming through properly.
With out seeing the file it's hard to say what the issues is. It could a mask issue or a group...
All of theses are all very different things. 3M makes a frosted material that yo can print on. I think that you would have a hard time putting a screen through a solvent printer. Tracing paper is usually pretty thin and I'm not aware of anything that you could put through a solvent printer...
I've seen it go anywhere from 1 few days to several months. A lot depends on the client. I had one job where the artwork approval took about 2 months but it took about a year to get the job approved.
So just got in a roll of the 3930DS along with the 1170 lam and printed a sign for a customer. After some tweaking our HIP profile on our HP570 it works awesome. The new 3930DS seems to be more pliable and goes through the machine very easily.
