  1. off gassing large wraps!

I believe this is for warranty purposes. The point I made was that if curing wasn't important, none of the manufactures would say it was. Instead, all of them say it when there no other benefit then avoiding excess warranty issues. Convert your brand new diesel into a used vegetable oil...
  2. Vinyl Removal NIGHTMARE... Help Please!!!

My guess is its not vinyl, it's clear polyester. Old cheap poly cracks just like that and is a pain to remove. My vote would be on the citrus based removers. You will have to soak it and scrape it repeatedly.
  3. off gassing large wraps!

Anyone who goes straight from the printer to the laminator is crazy and also irresponsible for encouraging it in a public forum. All manufactures specify a minimum of 24hrs curing time before laminating. Why would they do that if it wasn’t true? If I was a manufacture and I had a product that...

Here's another option using a second roll of mask. You should squeegee it afterwards. We use the double weber to dispense and hold the mask off the graphic until squeeged. Lots of people have made their own. http://www.beacongraphics.com/supplies/tools/weber.html
  7. Help removing paper from plexiglass

We use an old core too. Its a pain to get old plex started but once you do it's a breeze. I'll have to try the paint thinner trick on the really bad stuff.
  8. some colours can be a real headache

I wouldn't print it on vinyl and install it on banner material. The vinyl will shrink and the banners will curl towards the vinyl.

  10. RapidTac and Wet Mounting?

I have not used water and soap, only rapidtac. First make sure you have a perfect squeegee. Any knicks will leave bubbles of solution. Second if its possible to intall it without mask, do it without. Any imperfections in the mask will telegraph through. On large pieces I will spay the...

I wouldn't go less than 54". You can make alot of money on 4' banners, site signs and is the perfect size for most wraps. 30" printers tend to be a limitation for most.

  18. Cold weather install

Installing outside in freezing temps is not advised. If I remember right, the manufactures say not to install below 45degs. With that being said, most of us have had a situation where we had no choice but to install in colder than ideal temperatures. I don't install wet, and definatly...
