The edge is not perfectly smooth. I thought I would have to put something before paint or vinyl to have a smooth surface.
I've just tried to put vinyl on a edge of 2in thick pvc foam. It does not stick very well and the finish is not smooth.
I've got a customer that want a a printed PVC foam 1in thick.
My problem is he also want the sides blue (it's just a rectangle shape). What would you suggest me to do if I want a smooth surface and have colors on those sides. I would prefer to use vinyl instead of paint because I already use...
In my area, everyone is using acrylic. If I quote polycarbonate, my price will be too high. I've installed my fair share of acrylic over 10 years and NEVER had a problem. And remember we got real winter here.

I still have to do my homework but here is my new list:
OCÉ 1200 series (tested and went...
It may change everything, but I just found I have a swissqprint and cetcolor distributor/tech near me. So those ones would be in my comparaison chart also.
The roll-to-roll option is for the white ink that I do not have on my ''regular'' machine.
The oce is almost two times the price of a FB here (Canada). I'm sure it's a better machine, but is it 2X better?
