People buy all day long at the dollar store, only $1 per roll so if you can compete with that, go for it. Even super large rolls of like 100 ft are only $9.99. So you would lose a ton of money.

By the way I am friends with a structural engineer called Schnitzhofer and Associates if you want him to review your stuff. I don't know how much he would charge, but it wouldn't be much for a review and sign off. He charges a lot to actually spec out a job.

Is this what you want? They are $1.55 at Harbor Sales. The 2" might be the flange on it. Engineers are weird people and do things more complex.
