Not familiar with Colex, but are the sample files you're cutting using printed images with registration marks? I know with our Summa flatbed we had that issue but the camera just had to be calibrated. Possibly similar to your issue?

We also use a coroplast sled. Make it 65" x 12" or so, and use it until it gets too thick to shove through the rollers. We've been doing it this way since we got our laminator 12ish years ago. The "tech" tried telling us we had to buy and use GBC craft paper under all prints. Not so much.

I like the one step idea. Seems like the heater or whatever the second process is takes up a bit of space.

A lot of the sizes you're mentioning don't exist with the mainstream manufacturers, and I personally wouldn't worry about anything that isn't 54" / 63" wide. Think of the biggest size you need now, then go up a size or two. Personally I wouldn't look at any equipment smaller than 63" -...
