We are designing for a small fleet of Kia Souls right now. I would like to remove the plastic bumper moldings from the doors... but I have a feeling they are clipped on with holes in the body. Can anyone confirm if there are holes behind the molding or are they stuck on with VHB?
Would you like some cheese with that whine? Move to Texas, the weather is beautiful down here.
Oh, and don't use masking tape. Try using scraps of vinyl instead.
What always confused me was that ink types throw a monkey wrench into everything. Keep in mind that magenta ink by one manufacturer is not the same exact shade of magenta ink made by another manufacturer. A file may print beautifully on your Roland and look like butt on a Vutek.
Yes, RGB has...
You do a full detail complete with clay bar before applying vinyl or wrapping a vehicle? That's taking it a little too far I think. I leave it up to the customer's discretion. If they want a "perfect" wrap, then I suggest a full detail with clay bar before delivering the vehicle. Generally, we...
I'm not following you. I'm sure the vinyl is a little different, but I doubt seriously it's going to add hours and hours to the install process. This is probably one of the easiest installations we'll ever do. It's all molded fiberglass. No obstacles. Trust me, I'm not scared.
Just looking...
We have exclusively used 3M wrap vinyl products since day one. Never even experimented with Avery Supercast, Oracal 3951, Arlon 6000XRP or anything else.
Now I have a project in front of me we have to shave costs wherever possible. The wraps are going on fiberglass monster truck bodies. There...
Hmmm... I think it's called advertising. I mean, as far as I'm aware, vehicle wraps do still have a purpose. At least the good ones do :thumb:
Nice work Hamsterman! Did you guys have a hard time on those HT fenders? They look good... no signs of overstretching. Definitely one of our least...
Targeting the edgy race car type guys eh? Those are the guys I duck and hide from. If I had a dollar for every one who said "I'll let you put your logo on my car/trailer if you wrap it for nothing. I'm gonna be on ESPN 8 the ocho next month. You will get sooo much exposure. All my racing buddies...
Thanks y'all. They actually photoshopped everything but the truck. In the original pic, it was in front of my shop. I haven't gotten my copy in the mail yet. So all I've seen is the little thumbnail too!
Something about the cover of the July issue of Sign & Digital Graphics Magazine... just looks really good. Can't quite put my finger on it.
