Onyx X10 isn't supported anymore. Unless you manage to find someone running X10 (highly doubt it) to create a printest file, you're better off upgrading to X21. yes, it's over 10 years old now.

Nothing lasts forever. Buy a machine, 3 years later there's a newer model. Do you buy a car in 2021 then have a complain to the dealer that they're not selling the 2021 model in 2022?

That's normal when you're adding an extra layer of ink as a backing on top of your standard print. Extra passes are required to add the white ink in addition to the CMYK

Are you using canned profiles or are you making them yourself?

Known as Total ink limits or (TAC) another way or limiting inks. not actually apart of GCR.

Before you start askng questions abouot GCR. i suggest you learn what GCR is and what it does. and GCR wont fix over inking. ink limits will.
