I haven't seen it in person, but i have looked at EFIs range on paper. 257SQM is a little on the slow size, as im looking for something with 4x CMYK / 16 heads at least to at least get in the neighbourhood of 150-160SQM in a production mode.
I know what im after is very specific, and i...
Realistically - no.
Because you cannot easily set the RMO to stop exactly where you want it to align the prints.
You could try with a small test, but i wouldn't count on it.
Yeah im waiting on samples from the Karibu S. the speed of the S is a lot better than the standard version and makes it a lot more appealing.
The colorado is a great machine, but it has complications with one of our stocks we run. So when we upgrade, we'll need a machine like the karibu & Durst...
Had a look at specs, it's a little slow for what i need.
Our Colorado is on about 1000SQM a week in matte mode. our upgrade needs to at least double the speed or more.
Easy rule of thumb, if they dont display a CRI, they're generally not so great.
Good thing is that more high CRI globes are getting more available
Fluro & LED give off a different spectrum of light. and also the wattage makes a huge difference. Fluro is generally better but LED has came a long...
This is usually have a relationship with those who are provided on the quote, or in this case "approved manufactured of ADA sigs" which usually means it's done to spec and no liability issues and goes on.
Same goes with us, As we do a lot of glass splashbacks, there's regulations to follow and...
most signshops dont use any specific lighting. D50 lighting isn't cheap either unfortunately.
But it is recommended if you're doing anything regarding colour matching, or else you'll be like OP and get different colour matching results inside and outside.
The other way to colour match is with...
Okay wow, almost all of you are wrong.
Colour temps 5000k 6500k are not to be used for reference in printing.
D50 is the lighting condition / colour you should be looking at.

5000k 6500k etc yes they're a...
Our Arizona doesn't give off much of an odor, its also required to have some amount of air changes per hour. Most flatbeds have options of white and varnish.
Arizona for acrylic prints. having the vacuum hold the acrylic down so it doesn't warp is key.
Also the 360GT is very old vs the HP R1000. You should be looking at the 1300GTS or XTS (if you want a larger table) configuring it with double white will speed up printing white ink
Having a faster scan speed also will degrade the quality.
head speed affects the print speed also. so if OP wants to speed up the printing process, he can choose less passes.
Many reasons i'd have a automated spectro VS a hand held with a ruler.
Accuracy & Speed are the main 2.
Especially if you're working with a new media and may have to make a few profiles before you're happy. it saves a lot of time.
I use a Barbieri LFP RT s3 and a barbieri Spectropad s2.
