If we're relying on anecdotal experience, I could compare your one Windows 10 computer experience with the 5 we have at the shop and 4 at home, all of which I built myself and shepherded from their Windows 7 origins into Windows 10, and conclude that maybe you're a lousy computer administrator...
PosterShop can make a profile all the way up to the point of making the ICC profile. It cannot do that part (which is kind of essential). Before I upgraded to ProductionHouse, I used a couple of profiles I made with PosterShop, and because the ink limits and settings were correct for the media I...
You have to have Production House or higher to do profiling in Onyx. Postershop won't do it. The i1 works fine with Onyx. The X-Rite i1 does not come with software that will make a profile for Onyx.
Colors will be improved by profiling. The issue of drying before takeup comes from setting ink...
Here's where a sharp moderator/owner type would show this thread to 4Ever Products and suggest they become a Merchant Member, if they are not already...
Ask for a copy of the branding guidelines and then point to the part about when the logo is displayed in reverse on a dark background. And if it doesn't have that provision, redraw the sign with a big white rectangle on the door behind the black logo.
Yes, he asked about setting PVC post sleeves in the ground. I doubt he'd be using two 4.25"x4.25" posts for a single 18x24. That would look really strange. Way too thick legs for a sign that small.
What I suggested was buying a system made for doing exactly what he wants to do, one which...
I guess you've never used a 4Ever Products for sale sign system. 4' tall PVC post with metal stake in the ground. 18x24 sign attached to post.

Or their swinging sign system, goes in the ground or on the stake...
Don't see why people are bringing in building inspectors and frost lines. Do realtors have to get permits to put up an 18x24 for sale sign? Do for sale signs get subjected to kids on bikes running over them?
The solution I offered is sold for doing precisely what the OP wants to do, and...
Why not just use a 4' post from 4ever products with one of their ground stakes and a cap? No holes to dig. https://www.4everproducts.com/products/accessories/
We've been printing canvas on our 10-color Epson S70670 since we bought it at the introduction. The prints from it are as photo-perfect as you can make and they have no loss of color in that time. Prior to that we used a 6-color Mimaki JV3, and prints from it that we made 13 years ago are still...
Kinter.com is the place. They are a retail display company. They have 1/8", 1/16", and 1/32" cable systems, and have several styles of cable loop adjusters. None of theirs use tools to adjust though.
I get a catalog periodically that has all that kind of stuff in it. I've used it doing installs in department stores (that the stuff was all shipped in and we just put up.) Now if only I could remember who sends the catalogs (which I always throw away because I never buy that kind of stuff...)
I've never used the DPF8200. I'd use the 8000 because we stock it and use it regularly for a specific application anyway. Arlon advertises that the 8200 is more conformable.
