If your looking for something that will print on a wide range of materials look at latex. You can laminate right after printing saving you time, no fumes to deal with, no waste ink to dispose of, etc... They do use 220 so you might have to get someone in to run a line if you don't already...

We do this all the time. It helps get every extra penny out of the roll. If there's not enough material on a roll to put through the printer (HP 570) we use it for sheeting blanks.

I have used and worked on solvent/eco-solvent and latex. Latex doesn't use any more power than solvent. The ink is not more expensive. Resolution is better than most solvent. Yes they are consumable but this isn't a bad thing. They do not print worse and worse prints everyday till you...

While I agree that a vector based program would be best and I would use Flexi for this but again since I'm unaware of her capabilities and for the sake is simplicity, in this case there is nothing with using Photoshop which the file will only be a few hundred megs not gigs.

What is this a sign for? I don't see any name or number or text, or is this a wall mural? How is it going to be displayed? Are you applying it to painted wall, sintra, .080, di-bond, etc? What are your printing/production capabilities? Do you have a large format printer that can print and...

Just take the foil out and hit print maybe? Depends on which edge you have you could also bypass the lid latch to think that the machine good to go and hot print that way.

This isn't your older machine. The setting will be different. Lower the vacuum, mine is 10 and I have no problems.

What type of banner and textiles are you printing on? I know that when switching to most textiles and mesh banner you need to switch out the plates underneath the material (i forgot what they were called) with one specifically designed for those applications.
