Looks like the max size in Corel is 1800" = 50yards. Importing dwg's is problematic. If the file is complex the dwg file formate is probably breaking the lines into billions of short line segments. Making the overall file size smaller may or may not help. If it is for printing a plat map...

Just downloaded and installed the trial version of Eyecandy 6. It doesn't seem to work with Corel X4 anymore. Corel isn't listed on the supported software list and I can't remember if it was in the past. Anyone get it to work. I have all 3 Eyecandy 5's, Xenofex 2, and Snap Art working with X3...

My preference is to wrap rivets and remove screws. Installing over screws isn't the problem, it's the tenting and premature failure around the screws. The vinyl gets brittlle in the midwest cold and in a year or 2 crack and fail. If I was in a warmer climate I would probable just wrap over them.

How big of a truck are we talking about? A pickup truck I would be a 100ppi full size. If we are talking about a 24' box truck, I would be designing at full size 50ppi. You can also merge/combine layers to reduce the size of the files.

If the design and finish don't match up it could have been refinished at some point. As bad as it sounds, my guess is the customer did it himself.
