Liquid gets trapped in the air channels. And looks like junk.
Have you ever tried using ASLAN Etched glass? 2212-1155.
Looks great and is easy to apply without application fluid.
You should only be using cast vinyl that has been laminated on vehicles. Unless its for short term graphics that will be removed after a few months. Ideally with an eco-solvent or latex printer.
If you use a felt edged squeegee you can wet it down with a little soapy water or application fluid. It helps keep it from scuffing as much. Keep everything CLEAN.
I've been using 2021 for the past few weeks. I was on 2019 before. It runs faster, less crashes and freezes. The annoying zoom bug when scrolling in other applications and then focusing back to corel doesn't happen any more... mostly. I like the new multi page view.
IJ35C is a low quality short term vinyl. I always had problems with longevity of the adhesive or the material will shrink causing problems.
I switched to 3M 40c-20r. Its a much better allrounder vinyl imo. not perfect... but way less problems then when I used 35c.
Looks somewhat normal. Those older printers don't really stand up to close scrutiny.
There is a chance that the material could be causing the issue if its cheaper stuff.
