  1. Oce Colorado

The only thing I have heard is that OCE Colorado is terrible for vehicle wraps. The ink chips off the vinyl easily.
  2. Recommend window perf to be used in HP 560

I ended up switching to Clear Focus perf and had no problems with it. So I recommend that perf media for sure. It just worked without having to adjust a bunch of settings.
  3. Should Gino be brought back?

Hope he reconsiders his terrible attitude. I come here to learn and help others. Not to read stupid flame wars.
  4. When someone asks..."Is that the best price you can give me?"

Its a negotiating tactic. Nothing to take offence to. You should expect them to ask that question and already have an answer for it. If they don't ask it then hey bonus.
  5. MORE 560 Problems

560 user here. This is actually a problem I haven't experienced. You should call up HP support. You might have a problem with whatever motor runs the tensioner. I assume you have ruled out that you might be loading in the media crooked or incorrectly?

  7. Suggestions Anti Virus Software

These people who only say malwarebytes and Microsoft defender only are scaring me. We use eset Nod32. No antivirus no matter how good it is will protect you if a user has no understanding of how a virus can infect your computer. "THINK before you click." as they say.
  8. HP Latex 300 vs. 500 Differences

One thing they wont tell you about the 500 series is that it wastes a lot more media on the front end every time you have have to change rolls. Also the 500 series printers get media jams all the time. Sooo many... sooo frustrating.
  9. Contaminated media?

Looks like it could be an old roll and that the plasticers have leeched out of the media? Just a guess. Try cleaning an area with alcohol and printing on it to see if it makes a difference. Either way I would try to return it and get a new roll.
  10. Question Clear printable vinyl instead of translucent 3850 oracal on lighted faces

I use Arlon DPF 4500G Calandered Clear for use on white pan faces that are internally illuminated. It works really well accepting extra ink for maximum vibrancy. I've tried quite a few different types and this is the one I found works the best.
  11. X-Rite i1Studio - Any feedback?

Even buying the scanner doesn't guarantee that you can create a good usable profile. Check out www.correctcolor.org Mike is a good guy that might be able to help you out. There is also www.digitalcolorconcepts.com and Rick Martinko over there is very knowledgeable as well. They both offer custom...
  12. Question Haven't found anything like I need...................................

3M IJ5100 is a printable reflective sheeting that we use for our local police department's vehicles. It has a grey/silver metallic look. Maybe its what you are looking for?
  13. Battery Backups for printers??

Unless the power goes out for multiple days most printers shouldn't really be affected. We don't run a battery backup for ours.
  14. Graphtec tech support is horrible and cutting master 4 is a joke

Its because they are all Indians and you cant understand them on the phone anyways. They know English but the accent is to thick to understand. Dont have to worry about that in chat.

dang only $200? That machine still has quite a few more years of support by HP.
  17. HP L26500 head strike

I would say you are getting less suction in the vacuum platen. Look for clogs or maybe a fan that has stopped working. If both of those check out try turning up your vacuum setting.
  18. Billboard/banner markup

Less durable means more reprinting fees. $$ They use the excuse that the lighter weight material is better for the environment. Who can blame them when they charge 4x markup.
