For second surface clear we use Arlon DPF 4500G with good results on our latex printer. Regarding the reflective, we use 3M IJ5100-10 with no issues.

I'm not familiar with that printer. But if its an ecosolvent printer then yes. 24hours is ideal.

My vote goes to Static issues. If you determine static is not the issue, and you are sure the heads are as clean as they will get, then I would say a head replacement is in order. How old is the printer? How much material has gone through it?

This isn't directly related to the topic. But anyone that hasnt tried 3M 40c-10 or 40c-20 in place of the IJ35c absolutely should give it a try. Its vastly superior for only a few dollars more.

It can in some cases make a big difference if the file is an eps or a pdf. I would try both. If that doesnt work then export it as a tif or jpg.
