I'm having a terrible time with this Contra Vision Performance 30% window perf (WBPAG30C-137-9) on a HP 560.
Right now my settings are 8 pass, Max Vacuum pressure, and 200F degrees.

It has the WORST loading system of any digital printer I have EVER used. The 560 has wasted more material in the few short months I've used it than any other printer I've had experience with. It jams and ruins material...
We ended up hiring a professional to come in and make a bunch of profiles for us. It was somewhat expensive, but the time we saved afterwards not having to mess with settings for everything all the time made up for it.
I should add that with the new HP printers profiling media is all automated...
Dropbox is my favorite because it acts just like a folder on your hard drive. Copy the finished art into the folder right click the file and select copy dropbox link. Then just paste the link into an email. You don't even have to wait for the file to finish uploading. Google Drive is free but...
Making a color profile is a pretty difficult undertaking without proper training. I think that's why HP is automating the color profiling in their newer printers. Have you tried finding any premade profiles online for your media?
Its hard because most printer manufacturers say you need to have good circulation in the room the printer is in. Which in turn makes it pretty hard for a humidifier to keep up.
If I get an .ai file that wont import into corel I'll open it in illustrator and save it as an older version and be sure to disable file compression. It doesnt work 100% of the time. but it works often enough.
