That may be. Yet I get font importation errors all the time on pdfs I get from clients. IMO better to just outline the fonts manually and avoid the hassle of having to recreate a pdf when it inevitably throws a font error.
I just discovered that you are right. But I still have to go in and...
I use Corel Draw so I can only speak for how I export from that program. When preparing a pdf to send for large format digital printing.
I'll start with Document Distribution preset. Under the color tab I'll make sure that "Output colors as" is set to native. Check to make sure Embed color...
Former 26500 user here. It's better to just leave the printer on so it can run its automated maintenance cycles. Leaving the printer completely powered down is not recommended. You will have problems with clogged heads.
Anecdotal opinion incoming.
Former 260 user and current 560 user here. IMO the color stability is not perceivably better. But the environment your printer is in is a big factor here. Constant temp. and humidity play a big role when trying to tile together a larger image. We aren't set up for...
I've noticed that print heads on the HP latex machines very rarely if ever dry out. That said latex has is own problems you have to deal with. There is never a "perfect" solution. Nice job troubleshooting and fixing your problem.
We have an HP Latex 560 printer. We use the HP branded stuff. PVC-free wall paper. Though I think just about anything would work. https://www.grimco.com/Catalog/Application/GRAPHICDISPLAYS/WALLGRAPHICS/WALLPAPERGRAPHICS
Make sure to ask your supplier about any compatibility issues with your...
Former VJ1614 user here. It is possible. The test print isnt an image though. Just your standard print head test where it prints out lines for each color. https://mutoh.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/VJ1614E-I-00s-071102.pdf look on page 7.
There is also an opperation manual...
In my very extensive experiences in dealing with vinyl on latex paint you should forget it and go with wallpaper. No matter how much you wipe down the walls with iso alcohol the vinyl will still peel off.
Any chance of shortening the search character limit?
Right now if I want to search for an HP error code (Example 28:03) it says my search term isnt long enough. So then if I type in "error 98:03" it brings up every time the word error is used. I just want to see threads where the code "98:03" is...
If you get a used 2 series printer it will most likely have a bunch of parts that will need replacing. Heater elements specifically. And its a major pita to replace them.
I'm assuming you are exporting as an eps or pdf. Try exporting it as a flattened tif or jpg. Not sure if that's possible or not though I don't use flexi. But sometimes onyx has problems with transparencies and that what I do as a workaround.
You can try calling HP tech support. You can also check their website for profiles. Or make your own. Are you sure you are downloading the correct profiles for the printer?
