+1 for RJ Signs. We have ordered two of their 4' x 8' post and panel frame kits over the past year and have been very happy with them. Very nice people to talk to on the phone and deal with.
Gary,
It sounds like you have an RSC 1400c laminator. If so I have the same machine. What I do is roll the prints up print side in. I have placed an old 54" empty box on the floor in front of my laminator. I set the roll inside it. I then make sure my laminator speed is set to one. I then...
It is the coro....I recently did a job for a client that was hanging Signs in stores across our state. All of the signs that they already hang in the stores were coro so we made ours the same so they didn't have to figure out a new hanging system. We tried just regular coro and were trying to...
Yes you can turn them down while printing. Just press the heater button on the front of the printer push the down arrow on either setting then hit enter. But this will only work if you have versaworks set up to use the printer settings and not the profile settings
Thanks again everyone....We currently run Estimate....I was looking for something that I might be able to use for when I am out of the office doing sales and you have that one client that pushes you for a price even though you try to tell them that you would rather wait and give them an accurate...
Does anyone know if the SignCraft Pricing Guide will give you square foot prices for like digitally printed banners and things of that nature or are they mostly for general sizes?
Thanks Replicator....I took a quick look at it online and it seems to be pretty good....I am probably going to subscribe to Signcraft Later today.
Thanks again everyone.
So I was curious as to how many people use the Sign Contractors Pricing Guide. How little or how much to you rely on it? We have always just used a pricing software but thought I should maybe pick one up for use when I am out of the office seeing customers. Is it a good investment....Not like...
OCsteve I guess I am still missing something without seeing the design but if you mask all seven pieces under the same single piece of masking then it is only one item....Well just thought it might be a suggestion to help you with your problem....I am out of ideas except to sub it out. Happy...
Thanks Ken for the info...late last night I found a link / page of info on the Laminator's website that said to prep with 99% isopropyl alcohol so if I clean with 50/50 and it damages it then I guess come Monday I will be on the phone...Thanks again everyone and Happy Holidays!

Am I missing something here....why not just print, lam, cut and mask the logo or design with out the orange background and if they are worried about being able to apply them that way and not get any bubbles then do it on 3165 RA or IJ35C.
Thanks for the info I appreciate it. I am not painting only putting vinyl lettering on it. Unfortunately this is the first time I am using this material and I need the entire sheet for a one piece sign so I do not have any small cut offs to test on. If anyone else knows anything or wants to...
Hey everyone I have a quick question. I am making a sign with 3mm OmegaBond Brushed gold side and was wondering what you would normally us to prep the substrate? Normally we us a 50/50 iso to distilled water mix. Anyone out there who has actually used this substrate and if so what did you use...
Sign Works you are talking about pinch rollers and Pacific Coast Sign is talking about Grit rollers two completely different things and cleaning procedures.
Thanks again everyone for your input....I will be showing these responses to my customer so that they can see that it just isn't me....I appreciate all of your time.
Happy Holidays from Big Z
