I have a 55" Royal Sovereign RSC-1400c as well and use it all of the time to apply mask. We us so many different sizes of laminate that most of the time we don't even thread our machine we just cut it to size unless we are running a really really long run of it. Usually the mask is on it more...
I have also recently tried some of Oracals 3628 on my daughters nursery recently on gloss paint. I tried a full bleed and it seems that the edges after a couple of days started to curl some. Might have to try and this Photo Tex Stuff.
Here is my only question if you are not wanting to do VEHICLE WRAPS then why are you putting one on your car? You are only going to get people calling you asking you if you do them and then when you say no you are going to be not only turning away their wrap business but any other business that...
Thanks...I googled it and found that a hardware place near me is suppose to carry it. If they do I am going to get one and will post the results later tonight.
Hey everyone...I am finally slowing down enough to put together some sales materials and one of them is going to be a proper PMS color chart that has been printed on my machine. I printed it on vinyl and banner material. I have since cut the banner material into 8.5 x 11" pages to go into a...
When I first started it was great but now that I am getting busier and busier I am really starting to notice the slow printing speeds. I can't wait to get to the point where I can either afford another faster machine or just a stand alone printer.
Ok so I think that i am going to try the new 3M IJ35C for this job. While I was looking into the 3M laminates they suggest to use for this there are no gloss laminates. They are all either matte or luster. Being as we will also be using white Oracal 751 that will have a gloss look to it we...
I would check to see if there is a profile for the 3628. Both of the 3268 and the 3628 are used for almost the same application. That profile might be a better one to use. I just printed / cut and applied some 3628 all in the same day on this past Thursday and there seems to be no problems...
Hey everyone I have a problem. My brother lives in Vegas and I did some signs for him and his buddy that run an auto repair shop. Our supplier has a Vegas location so to same him some money we were going to have our supplier make the Wind Sign 3 available for him to pick up there so that it...
If you are saying you are using a material that is similar to Oracals 3651 then you are using a calendered. I just pulled out my Oracal Inkjet Media guide and 3651 is considered an "ULTRA-CALENDERED" vinyl.
I would think that IJ 35 is an odd choice for wall graphics. I would have used something like Oracals Orajet 3628 or even their 3268. I just printed some 3628 this morning and am getting ready to install it on my daughters nursery walls (about 8 months late....lol...but at least it is getting...
Well I had thought so too but I thought I would see what other people thought. I already landed part of this job and am getting ready to bid the other half and want to make sure I get it all. I just don't see in my eyes why you would use something like 3951 or IJ 180 because who knows...in...
Hey everyone I am getting ready to big a project that has a lot of window graphics. Normally when we do anything in cut vinyl we use something like Oracal 751 or better. I have heard that you should use cast and not calendered. Most of what we have to do is prints so I was looking at using...
