it actually doesn't look that bad. front and rear corners will be no picnic but based on where the gaps in the sections fall looks like you can piece alot of it. making it easier.
(lining up the graphics maybe another story)
the corners and license plate area of the honda fit sucked pretty bad...
i think we resolved the issue and it looks like it was a static problem. we used our anti-static roller that we use on our silk screen materials. wiped the sintra down with it and got a good print
thanks for the info folks
i got a sample of .060 magnet. also gave the customer two other options, magnet with adhesive stuck to the shelf and then stick info magnet or velcro.
unfortunately this is going through a broker so i haven't seen the shelving. one of the misfortunes of brokers, alo t...
how much powder we talking here?
different types fo powder coat. we use the avery hi-tac and it works on powder coated surfaces and low surface energy plastics
i have a job for a customer to make 3/8" x 3" magnetic nameplates
i think they are using them to identify stock on pallet racks. i gave them samples of .030 mag same as what we use for our vehicle signs and they claim it's not sticking good enough. i think part of the issue is it is so small...
you can do a bleed but you have to put something on the edges so it won't print on the bed. really what you are doing is tricking the machine. you just set it up to print bigger than 4x8 and then it will print what you need. let me know if you need any other info. it may not be the best machine...
when our machine first got set up the LED was was bad. i think it was a wiring issue not sure but the fan wasn't working which is attached to the LED so it kept shutting off (safety feature) but they replaced it free. the light is under your warranty but after that it is up it's about $5000 to...
we are running the machine a ton but not for it's traditional use. we mostly run rolls of 10mil polycarbonate and .003" foil. but on the short run coro signs not too bad. anything more than 15-20 and we just silk screen them. running 24x18 1up @ 9min per side, 3up @ 24min per side. it's not a...
i am sure i am not the first person to comu up with this one but...
i am running a short run of coro signs 18 x 24 only 10pc so i was thinking of a way to run multi-up. making a jig, use a bigger sheet and cut it down
and then the dim light bulb i have went off. i just tape them together.
i just...
i wiped the boards down with alcohol to clean them and to reduce the static
and i got it on two boards i tried to print. the guy from roland said it may be because it is a cheap version of pvc board but they are still doing some research. these things happen unfortunately but it always seems to...
here is a pic of the issue
thanks tim our sales rep already put us in touch with grant and he is working on getting this resolved but so far it doesn't look like there is too much info for this issue
here is a pic of what we are getting
i am printing 4x8 3mm white sintra on my roland lej-640 and the finished image has some lines where all the pinch rollers are. i never noticed it with any other material .
any ideas on how to get rid of them?
i have got similar lines when printing on my xc-540 but you can remove the rollers on...
i was watching an episode of muscle car yesterday and they were doing a spot repair on a camaro hood (it had a couple of small dents) and they had to remove the SS stripe. so the guy proceeds to remove it like it was vinyl that was just applied (it probably was) and says you have to go slow or...
i would say just keep in mind what you would do for a customer #1
and like some others said you don't want an easter egg explosion.
you want to show your potential customers you have some good skills and at the same time make it easy to read and easy on the eyes. on ours we just did the top...
