the only problem with forced air is that it stirs up other dust and eventually can fall back onto the prints.... but I think it is worth trying out since I have an air compressor...

Make sure when you turn the printer off that the head is over to the right side as far as it can go. My Mimaki is 7 years old and I have found that sometimes after cleaning and shutting down the printer I can actually move the carriage about 1/4 - 1/2" more to the right.

Small decals and small quantities really require a hefty setup charge to make them viable or very high sq ft pricing. I had one client last year, verbally ask how much it would cost to run 200 decals that were pretty small. When I calculated the cost and added a setup it came out to somewhere...

Nothing infuriates me more than people who order decals or vinyl and they request a set. How do I know in his mind what a set consists of. So today for example a guy ordered 2 sets of pre cut vinyl lettering for transport doors. I just figured he needed 2 for 1 truck. now it seems a set to...

I am curious as to why your price on window graphics is in line with the franchise supplier's. So they give away banners but window lettering is another story? I cant figure that part out. You have to let us know how that banner looks when it arrives and is installed

I am wondering if I hit it with to much down force... you can see the cut in the liner once it is removed, but I think I have always seen that. I am going to test a new one and drastically remove down force to see how it weeds and removes from the backer.

I spoke to the 3M sales rep and he says that the 7725 should easily be removable using the 3m scpm 2 or 3. I tried and same thing, virtually nothing lifts off even after putting it through the laminator. I know it's only 20 logos, but between the time to cut them and weed them it can take...
