J Hill and Big Easy- I think you guys are spot on. I did View- Filter: See picture. There looks like some CMYK color in the graphic?
I see my Spot color and Contour cut listed under RGB...
J Hill,
I am getting very close: For a sanity check I did the following:
Brand new blank File- Typed TEST- Assigned contour Cut. Assigned Black GCS 12 as Color. Checked All for Color of crop marks. - IN Production Mgr., I Reversed Print order for CMYK to- Black, Cyan, Magenta - Yellow Order...
Thanks Big Easy-
I tried keeping the black Foil- it ran the Process black first ( I reversed order to print black first) printing marks-and faint outline of my design. Then it ran the GCS-12 black foil- but the image is slightly blurred- because it got two blacks. The Marks are Fantastically...
Having a heck of a time. It should be easy in Flexi :) So far, Crop marks only print designs that are in CMYK.
Simple task- single color black graphic with contour cut. Specs: Flexi 8.1v. Gerber Edge 2. Crop marks are graphtec type 1.
I did my design in single color Black Foil GCS-12, and I...

3. Slowed speed to 4.
Here are the...

So I have a strange contour cut shape being left on my vinyl: Note: the cutter reads the registration marks perfect. The Sensor Adjustment is SPOT on. ( see pic). It seems that the the contour cut is "Compressed" on the left and right side of the letters. The word "TEST" was...
If the new computer doesn't recognize the key- then you probably need a driver installed on the computer from the key manufacturer. - I would find the key manufacturer on google, and contact them to download.
I have used 751 for tiny letters, but 1/32 is pretty small.
I would try 751, weed the large portions, apply app tape, flip it over and weed tiny stuff off the app tape. I have done this for a few years with success. It is a longer process though.
yep- plenty. You can download graphtec studio software from graphtec's website, or use plug in CM2 or CM3 for your illustrator software. Go slow, do test cuts, read a ton, and dial that unit in.
I've done MX decals and street bike decals before. What I would do is take 4 minutes to see if a clean image is available somewhere to work with. If no image is available, then charge X for 25 minutes of art plus normal costs. Especially for old bikes- they don't manufacture the graphics /...
