Hello Patrik, In the US the CE6000 units do not offer perf cut. However, last year I saw a brochure that the European versions have the option ( usually reserved for FC units in the States). If I find the tutorial I will post a link.

I use an Edge 2, Graphtec FC7000 and Flexi 8.6- works great once you get it all dialed in. If your flexi has your driver for the roland you should be good.

How old is your blade holder? could be a contributing factor.

I didnt like the flexi cutter setting options for my cutter (FC7000). So i changed my menu settings on the cutter itself--not to take commands from software. Check to see if you have such an option. It cuts from flexi-- but uses the cutter settings.

Interesting...perhaps you can just use the vinyl as a stencil, and then paint with an acceptable paint for that plasitc? You have the letters and design already...

With a dedicated pro cutter, Graphtec, Summa, Roland - that is dialed in ( blade type, depth, pressure, speed and material) you should be able to get good results. I have had success cutting small designs for several years-- this was a test on my FC7000 a while back.

Yes, flexi will push settings to the cutter. On my graphtec, and probably on the summa, there is an option to use only cutter settings, or program settings. I made this change at the cutter menu- it will take the job, but not speed, pressure etc. from flexi. i use only cutter settings- flexi...
