Well I went ahead and did it! Pretty straight forward if you are mechanically inclined. Bottom roller is/ was in perfect shape. Model was a Drytac 26" cold roll laminator. I made a video of the steps and will put together if anyone is interested. awesome.

yes- you still have an element that is not converted to spot color in your design. Click View on toolbar, then View Filter- it will list the colors in your design- if you unclick your spot colors- only the RGB element will show. then either delete or change to spot color.
