wondering if anyone has had a problem where the heaters just decided not to work anymore. I was getting a message just before this that one or more of the ink cartridges were not original but they all are original. other than that everything seems to work ok the heaters just aren't coming on.

I had some problems with the first version of 10 but got the free upgrade and everything is fine

perhaps I need to take the screw out and take the whole thing out?

thanks for the response, i know it clips in I haven't been able to figure out how it clips in I've got it printing right now but once I take the waste tank out again it will just fall out.

went to change out the waste tank and the sensor dropped down. I can't figure out how it goes back in does anyone know where there is a picture of how it is supposed to be reinstalled? I can see where it goes but how can't get it to clip in or stay there anyway

I think this may be the encoder strip which may have some contamination or something on it try cleaning that.

turned out to be a broken wire in the foot pedal switch

yeah I'm thinking my speed sensor would be on the right as well. is there a way to check it to see if its bad?

Thanks for the response Mike. this thing doesn't have any tray that I'm aware of. how do you check to see if the sensors are sensing ha! there is no sound of the motor engaging at all. all I hear is the click of the foot pedal. tried it without the pedal as well.

put my 46" falcon up for sale was printing beautiful and had a guy coming to look at it and it died just before he got here. I suspect something went wrong with one of the boards. both head fuses are ok and the power board fuse is good. it will flicker once in awhile when I turn it on but...

you can use the wet method. a soap water solution so it's just slippery between your fingers. spray both the adhesive side of the laminate and the print and simply squegee out the fluid. works great and no bubbles.

ok did find another post that had similar issues and it seemed to be related to the ink station or cartridges etc... so tried removing the ink cartridges and just cleaning the station etc... and it fired up cool.

have been turning it off and on here and did get an error message: E106 CPUErr [05]

Have a mutoh falcon outdoor and turned it on this morning and it just has eight bars showing on the led and all the lights on. I'm thinking this is a power issue so took off the control led board thinking it may have a static charge but that didn't help. anyone else had this issue?

I have a different printer (Mutoh) but had the same problem. except my strip had a defect on it and found out the strip was 350.00 check your strip for defects. I flipped my strip vertically and viola works great now.
