Hey Josh.
Can you get that laminate in a 30"? I have a ton of labels to make and I like the setup with printing/cutting on 30" media. I see the 30" vinyl in your price guide but not the laminate.
Haha, I know exactly how you feel there. I was lucky enough to return the piece I had and bought a Summa. I am very glad I did, as this thing works like a dream! And I only have the D140, kinda would like to see the S or T series in action.
The semi lettering I have done so far had a bunch of fades in it, so you could notice the reflective parts. Where the ink was solid, it wasn't quite as noticeable, but I still liked the finished product.
I looked up the printer from that link and I see the ink on one side and the door for the maintenance door on the other.

Interesting. I have been thinking a lot getting a nice digital copier that will print 12" by 18", cut, bind, fold, etc. Any recommendations for a brand?
That is what I was thinking. It would be a smart move since it would keep these new customers happy, or make them happier, and more likely to make them want to upgrade to the new one when they can. Versus just tick them off.
I agree with tylercrum about solid colors. I did a large wall graphic project with solid blocks of a dark blue and red. They came out perfect!! No banding, spots or any other print defect. My VP-540 never would have been able to do that.
That is probably the only issue that I have found with this printer. I have been able to adjust it to straighten out the print so that it will cut right. I have turned down the heat settings and that has helped as well. It just takes some fine tuning.
