Would that be where you can select "extra printhead cleaning"? I have never had any problems, except the media sensor underneath digging into cast vinyl. Just bent the bracket out and it has been all good. Knock on wood!
I am using V9 with my L25500. I like the now included APPE. I think the colors are a little better. My main reason was that they supposedly got all of the cutting issues worked out.
Not trying to be pushy, just curious as to where we can order these from? The fact that you are offering a perfected template is icing on the cake and more than appreciated!!
Looking forward to getting the supplier for these!
I don't how much you are using yours, but my runs for several hours everyday at least and my electricity bill has hardly changed. What is nice is that it helps keep my shop warm so my heat bill ain't squat. So I can't say it is an electricity hog. Just because it takes (2) 220's, doesn't mean...
If you turn on media tracker, I think that is the name, it will keep track. BUT, you first have to input the length of the roll when you first put it in. Then keep track of what is left on that specific roll when you take it out. I use it and like it. If it is an already in use roll, I am not...
What would cause the printer to just display "processing" after you hit print? Every now and then it does this. You can hit cancel, then it just stays on that screen. You can't get it to do anything. I have to cut the power then turn it back on to continue.
Thanks!
Turn the heat down. It did this on mine too with 3M. I used the HP Generic Vinyl 12 pass and changed the to 50 and 95 for the heat. I am using Caldera.
I will have to try that profile. I agree, the 3M profiles I have used really suck! The only problem I have had with IJ35 is the backer bubbling. The vinyl still works when you go to apply it, just makes it look like crap and can have troubles laminating.
I just use the Gloss Vinyl profiles that came with Caldera. The only thing I changed is turnded the heat down to 50/95. I have found with this vinyl, if you have too much heat, it melts and bubbles the backing paper.
If you are going to buy Visual RIP+, you can get it installed and ready to go on a Mac Mini. That is what I did, and it was only $1 more! From Advantage anyways.
I really like the IJ10 and IJ11. I have noticed curling after it comes out of the printer, but I roll it up loosely and within an hour or so when I get back to finishing it and unrolling it, the curl is gone.
I agree too that IJ35 is great vinyl.
