  1. Wow! I think I found my Software?

When I got my copy of Caldera, it was an extra $1 to get it installed and ready to go all setup on a new Mac Mini. If all this was is your RIP station, there really wouldn't be much to learn if you are not familiar with Macs.
  2. print on magnet on the latex?

    What brand are you using?
  3. Wow! I think I found my Software?

I still highly recommend Caldera!! It works great and the tech support is fast and super helpful!!
  4. print on magnet on the latex?

What brands did you guys use? I have had inquiries about this too, but didn't have the guts to run it through my machine.
  5. US Tech Master Worf Pro Series 55 Laminator

LittleSnakey, for your new US Tech, what did you find the best way to load laminate and start the process? I am having troubles getting the material to track straight?

  7. Can the Design jet 25500 print Heat transfer material?

I have used Sojar from Fellers and Tattoo by RTape. You have to waste a bunch on each end as you have to have it fed through quite a bit to keep it form curling up and hitting the heads. Other than that, they both worked and printed good. The Tattoo stuff was a PITA to get off the backer with...
  8. Computers

I am 100% Mac and will never switch back. I love it and haven't had any problems.
  9. HP L25500 Pros and Cons?

Since Nate answered everything very well, I will just add that the quality of my L25500 blows the doors off of the VP540 I had. I haven't had any issues at all.
  10. Clear Vinyl for HPL26500

I have printed on the new 3M IJ114-10 with good luck on my L25500.. It is pretty inexpensive too. You just have to turn the heat down to keep the paper from curling since it is thinner.
  11. Application tape dispenser?

I made mine out of metal piping from the plumbing section at Menards. Just have 90 degree pieces with a small piece off that for the roll to go onto, one for each side. Add the metal base plates for the table side. Then use c-clamps to mount them to my table. Easily removed when needed and...
  12. Chrome Wrap

Didn't hear that. The pricing sounds really ridiculous!!
  13. L26500 and Caldera visual plus

Whoops, I commented before I read this.
  14. L26500 and Caldera visual plus

I use the HP adhesive vinyl profile for my vinyl printing, HP frontlit banner profile for banner and the various paper ones for posters. There is also a HP media finder where you can get a ton of profiles for media. Don't remember the site right off hand.

I got in touch with Matt @ Substance and was awesome to deal with! Can't wait to get the samples to try out!
  19. HP L25500 vs Roland VERSACAMM VS-540

I had a VP-540i and switched to a L25500 and will NEVER look back!! The quality of the VP540 doesn't come close to the output on the HP. I had both at the same time for a while. Ran the same file on both printers to compare and the HP was WAY better! Plus, when a head goes out on the Roland, it...
  20. Black overspray...why?

That is exactly what my cyan head did when it went out unfortunately. The only thing that fixed it was replacing it.
