I might be wrong but - I think you actually need photoshop installed on the same computer also and the plug-ins would be installed the the photoshop directory (the one that is referenced in the flexi settings, where flexi looks for it). In flexi.. edit - preferences - file paths.

You did good by putting them upright, in the ground. But the have to be dry and clean. The biggest issue is that if you just brought them home from the store, they are probably wet (from the pressure treating process). But the fact that they are standing up, outside will expedite drying...
