  1. TeckWrap Chrome or Avery

For small cut vinyl decals we use VinylEFX Smooth Silver. If they want blue you can print on it with a thermal printer and get awesome effects. I assume you can also print on it with a regular printer, but have never tried. it lasts a good while.
  2. Hot foil printing foils as gerber edge refill... anyone done it?

It looks like you're in Sweden, so I am not sure if you have Craigslist? I have found quite a lot of Gerber machines on Craigslist myself; most of them with problems like blown pixels can be found for very cheap. I would think that if one with problems could be found for cheap enough to test the...
  3. Need Thermoformed Blank Pan Faces

    X2, great work and prices.
  4. Mimaki JV3-75SPII ink problems after head wash

I know there is a way to reset the machine through removing the small button battery that keeps its memory alive, but I have never done that before. I think it might be on the motherboard or power supply board, but I can't remember. I would consider this a last-ditch idea though, I would start...
  5. Mirror Chrome vinyl for cut letters

We use VinylEfX Durable Smooth Silver here for small cut vinyl lettering (15" roll). For large wraps/cut vinyl we use Avery's Chrome wrapping vinyl.
  6. Mimaki JV3-75SPII ink problems after head wash

I have had other a defective other color cartridge cause mis-reads for cartridges that were ok. Try putting in two good blacks and pulling the other carts.

  8. freeze up when using quick mask

I never use quick mask, just regular masks, however I would suggest if it is not a hardware problem (out of hard drive space or RAM space) then I would just re-install Photoshop and avoid potential lost work.
  9. 1974 mustang templet where to get one

I think you might find one here: https://www.the-blueprints.com/search/mustang/ I am not sure what all model years are compatible with 74...
  10. Very interesting - I imagine we are all throwing away hundreds of dollars a year

I know we throw away thousands of dollars a year from ink cartridge waste on our Mimaki printers. The carts read empty when it seems like they always have around 5-10% left in them. Putting a small 1/8" shim under the rear wheels helped cut it down by about half of what was left in each...
  11. Line in print Gerber Edge 2

You can use any other lint-free wipe along with 99% ISO alcohol, using lesser percentage alcohol can leave residue from the water content. Sounds like you have a pixel going out though, you may have to waste a foot of print before each print with a "block" of solid color to help warm up the pixel?
  12. Finding Experienced employees

Put in there that you are looking for experienced employees, familiar with sign making, design, production, installation, etc. If they have to know certain software, put that in there also. You'll get less responses, but you'll get more qualified responses.
  13. Finding Experienced employees

It does NOT sound like you are looking for experienced employees by the wording of that ad. It sounds like you're looking for someone who can learn.
  14. Old English Script?

Couldn't find it, ended up cleaning up ALL of the paths in Composer to make it work. :( :banghead::banghead:
  15. Old English Script?

There are many little problems, zoom in and check it out in outline view. Maybe there is a clean version out there?
  16. Old English Script?

This is not the only lettering to go on the new truck, and they want to see it multiple ways in my proofs. (arched, straight, etc) So, cleaning up all those paths will be a pain, but that might be my only option.
  17. Old English Script?

No. This is for a fire truck. Aint gonna fly.
  18. Old English Script?

It doesn't seem to have as "spikey" of serifs though, especially when I try beefing it up. Any others out there?
  19. Old English Script?

Scary aint it? It looks all fine and dandy until you zoom in on those paths!
  20. Old English Script?

I thought I had this font figured out, but apparently the "font" I have is no good... I had "English Towne" as the font I was going to use, but that font isn't any good for cutting. Any idea on what font I should be using?
