it may be that Colin is the single most insensitive phuqwit that we all managed not to insult 2 weeks ago when his asinine comments could not be addressed without further degrading a moment of more important emotions... now i will say take your phuqing high horse importance to some other phuqin...

He has posted on his Facebook page & said he would write more when he feels stronger.
I expect we will see him here by tomorrow if not sooner!
He got the defibulator and pacemaker installed yesterday and arrived home today!

glad you found this post worth wasting your time to write instead.
someone on Letterville posted this link, a few posts began to litter his blog with justifiable confrontation, so I brought the link here. Wasting time being jokers or wasting time on other jokers is what I see here & FB, well...
yes.
I don't know about printing from Flexi... but somehow i'm sure you need each vector contour to somehow be assigned one of gerbers spot colors, and not be assigned a CMYK value.
Have you ever read up on threads at 4edgetalk.com? There might be some more info over there too...
Jim Du Molin is a first rate schmuck!
Here is his website, where he calls us all thieves!
you don't really have to "like" him, to click "like" on his FB page so you can add to the growing list of letterheads telling this loser how we feel about libel or slander.

Practice makes perfect.. Run one in your own shop, get creative with the content and force yourself to make changes, keep it current, and while learning more about those skills, you will also be showcasing HOW it could, and should be used!
stroke only works if it's set to overprint.. and then of course ALL black must be set to overprint, or you will waste double the foil, as it operates at different temps for reg, and overprint... but for black at least, that is probably ok...
I still say import a .tif for process printing...
why wouldn't you?
no contours you don't need... no gradients, no layers... nothing to fubar..
just unflappable pixels!
In that case, go back to Corel.. if there is a contour cut line that is not a simple circle or rectangle easily recreated in omega...
save an .eps file of the cut line only.
then export the full color artwork as a .tif file, and import that, assign process color, import your cut line & assign...
Could I be just a layers issue? Move the oval to back... Or check the select menu, and choose spot, or process to see if other colors are recognized, that might be behind a white oval.
What are your printing plans? Spot or process?
If spot, I don't know what you mean by "if Gerber does Pantone" because the only colors that matter are the spot foil colors you use... And as noted above, you will have to assign them from within Omega anyway...
That said, you certainly can import...
I think the hardware is going to come way down in price, with little room for much profit, BUT, this will help put them in the hands of small business people...
