Take your media and have them show you that it cuts your media. Since this is not the typical media, give them a good sized sample to test with. I'm sure that it will do it. Do they still have the T series? That was really good for thick media.

What plotter are you using? How thick is the media and laminate sandwich? Most of my customers just use the 45 degree blade for standard vinyl/lam combos. Really thick laminates will take a 60 degree blade.

Does this happen in more than one file? Does it happen if you rotate the file 90 degrees? I've also seen this happen when the encoder strip is dirty.

I agree with Mike Paul, but I've also seen static electricity cause that. If your humidity is low, static can build up and cause banding - it's really erratic in how it behaves.

Versa Works Dual Comes freewith new Roland printers and runs on Windows computers, is much more widely used and therefore you will find much more support for it. Roland print studio is a paid RIP that runs on Mac computers. I've not used it, so really can't compare other than that. God luck
