  2. Question Anyone tried wrapping a kayak?

Just the top of it? I wouldn't wrap the bottom...likely to be destroyed. If just the top it shouldn't be too hard...I'd do it in sections. Wrap over openings and trim out.
  3. Fellers not longer offering 10 yd pricing on vinyl

$33? What was it before, $30? Must be nice to have something like THAT to complain about.
  4. Suggestions for quality retractable banner stands

Having pretty good luck with Catapult and their Venture stands....easy to assemble and very sturdy. We have several clients that bring them back over and over to change out inserts.
  5. Suggestions for Temp / Short-Term Vinyl For HP360

Have switched to Grimco’s Briteline 3203x intermediate for everyday stuff. Love it. Prints well, has a heavy liner that releases easily, and is reasonably priced. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Murals falling off of drywall

It is not Controltac.... it has Comply. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Can you believe this sign company?

Yes, but you can't do that stuff for $12, $15.... I can setup and print $1000 worth of signage in the time it takes to lay out and cut one of those stupid decals. Which do you think we prefer?
  8. Murals falling off of drywall

We use Gen Form 226 and 229 for wall murals. We do not laminate them. Also remember there are some paints that just will not accept adhesive vinyl no matter what it is. You have to prep with alcohol to get a more permanent bond.
  9. FLEXI Question

Bingo. Came back to say that. If you color calibrate your monitor, the soft proof setting should mimic the calibrated correct colors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. News How to Design Exceptional Signs in 20 Minutes or Less

All of that should have taken 20 minutes, per this thread.
  11. FLEXI Question

Not sure what you mean....are you talking about the default colors? You do know you can pull up tons of color palettes, or simply create your own. I keep the entire Pantone Coated palette open at all times, and have created nearly every "standard" color we use (blues, reds, black, etc...) Don't...
  12. Suggestions 3M CONTROLTAC ECONOMY WRAP VINYL

Should be fine for short term wraps. Just don't expect ease of install on a serious curves, but flat to gentle curves would be fine.
  13. Discussion Can I use brand logos on my design without permission (please read)

So your friend rides professionally or on his daddy's land? If he's a pro, and an actual Red Bull rep is at the event, and sees the Red Bull logo on his bike.....he may ask " I don't remember sponsoring you....why is our logo on your bike?"
  14. Optically Clear Laminate for Window Perf?

Wow no... the liner doesn't make it optically clear. Hold up a peeled off piece of 290 and 290GF and you'll see the difference. 290GF is clear. 8518 is super murky when you look through it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I need help please.

Sorry man..lol...first glance at it and I thought it was simply Arial. But it isn't....
  16. I need help please.

    Really? You kidding or serious?
  17. Optically Clear Laminate for Window Perf?

8518 for vehicle perf?? You can't see out of that at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Optically Clear Laminate for Window Perf?

Yes 290F is about the best I've found. Have a roll of Briteline optically clear .... and it's not optically clear, you are correct. Used to use 3M, forget the number, and that stuff sucks. Would peel right off the print. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Really cool looking storefront!

Yeah, underwhelmed. Prismatic vinyl has been around for years. So what, it's perf....I have exactly zero customers who would want this.
  20. Font ID please

So the customer ended up telling us Freeland...they said they're email spell checker changed it.
