NOW I am noticing the same sh!t smell on our Oracal 210 matte laminate....??? How is it 2 different brands, as well as 2 different types of material, have the same nasty smell? No way they are made in the same factory....perhaps they share the same 3rd party adhesive? It is making us all...
It's fairly matte. It is a latex-coated paper, lays flat, tear-resistant.....can withstand getting wet (not water-proof). It's about .20/ft. If yours is comparable I'd be willing to look in to trying it. I know there is cheaper material out there....cheaper isn't always better.
Rubber band 2 sponge swabs together, and pass that over the strip every couple weeks. Dry is fine, or mist it with alcohol. Will keep it clean for a long time.
LOL That's a disaster waiting to happen. Someone else try it....I sure won't. We do a lot of GF 229 Wall Canvas and you sure can't use it for that material, and definitely not any other fabric type wall vinyl.
Stick to opaque Phototex and leave the overlap, or switch to the thicker GF wall...
Banding is caused by nozzle drop out or head misalignment, almost 99% of the time. Banding will occur most often with your lower pass printing. Stick to 8 pass or above on most machines, and ensure you have no clogged nozzles and all heads are aligned.
