Just received our new GFP 563TH laminator yesterday. Got it all assembled last night and ran some jobs today. Seems to be a good machine so far. One thing we noticed is there seems to be a fine line between too much/too little pressure on the rollers, and it tended to buckle a bit on the middle...
Been there, done that. Glad to not have that printer anymore. It was a workhorse in it's prime, but hard to maintain after a while. Replaced with HP Latex and never going back.
Communication is dead. Everyone uses the cop out of " Oh, I emailed you, you must not have got it." BS. Email doesn't have a 50/50 chance of arriving in your mailbox. Either you sent it or you didn't, unless you typed the email address wrong, which 99.5% of the time, you will get a response...

All interesting perspectives from everyone. We are about to need to hire a Graphic Designer, hopefully someone with sign experience and can help with table work, nothing crazy. But need someone talented and smart, which seem to be the hardest 2 qualities to find, next to loyalty and reliability...
Well like I said before, I am pretty sure that multiple pass counts in one profile were much closer to each other than these 2 are. Maybe some colors are more "close" than others, and this particular image is one exception. I just have to make sure anything with solid greys in it must be run at...
So here goes....on our 560 I have an issue with one set of profiles, for an intermediate vinyl . I have a 6pass and a 10pass I use. Colors are spot on in 6pass, but run the same image in 10 pass and they change, quite a bit. A grey color in this particular image turns almost purplish in the 10...
Hire a competent designer who not only proofreads their own work, but whatever the customer sends. Don't make a sign unless everything makes sense to YOU and what YOU would want it to say. Just because "their" is spelled right in their copy when it should be "there" doesn't necessarily make it...
