Well that's the only place I know of that will do that. There will always be a 'default' material setting in the Default Job Properties, but having that one box checked will always cause a pop up after you load your material and select it on the printer. It will ask if you want to load this...
Unless you do a ton of indoor type posters and small indoor banners, and need an additional printer for that kind of stuff and want to dump some into it, I'd say it's pretty useless.
So I assume you are not a sign shop or in the sign business, because I have never stepped foot in to one that didn't have a plotter. As suggested, buy a plotter, if this is the line of work you wish to venture in to.

Only problem I have with Grimco is sometimes I get stuff too fast. Not a bad problem to have, huh? Ordered 2 roils of print vinyl at 10:00 am. They showed up at 2:00. I love em!
