Coro costs
Your costs and profit only add up to $36.50. Are you subtracting for material waste for the 2 sq. feet left over? I try to figure in wastage so it should be $1.25 x 32 = $40 - $16.50 (costs) = $23.50 profit per board... you know... theoretically
I didn't say I would do it for $1.25 a square foot but there are a ton of wholesale guys who will. A simple Google search for "cheap coroplast yard signs" will yield you quite a few.
I am not a wholesaler and don't even play one on TV. I suppose it also depends on how much competition you have...
Big Fish - please PM me with that material info.
FYI - i took a pressure washer to it on really low setting with a fan pattern and it knocked out all the fill ins.
Does anyone make window perf that is already black on both sides so you wouldn't have to print anything for a solid black fill? I have 54 38" windows to put perf on and 50 of them are solid black and the other 4 will have a logo spread across them.
Just curious... would save alot of print time.
from prior thread...
Trans-Flex-Cast Static Cling Vinyl
Trans-Flex-Cast™, a soft polished flexible vinyl adhered to cast coated board, is called an “adhesiveless decal”. Trans-Flex-Cast™ will self-adhere to most smooth surfaces including glass, polished metal and other plastics. It has been...
For me its around shading/shadowing. Some seamless textures just don't look real when you join them together because any shadowing is stagnant across the image - meaning - if I tile something together that is 8 feet across - the shadowing should be different from one end to the other to make it...
How about Bright Idea Graphics - then your monogram can be B.I.G.. So if you do large stuff like us - you can have a dual purpose name of thinking creatively with Bright Idea or advertising that you do big stuff with B.I.G - people would see that and think either Bright Idea Graphics or BIG...
Just so I am clear... you are a wholesale provider who was actively letting your customer's clients go around him and straight to you before the goose laid the egg?
Okay, so one of my brillaint marketing companies has come up with an idea for a display and they are incorporating these 8.5x11 cards that fans can put messages on and the USO will send out to troops in Afraqistyria (my new combined name for Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria).
They want to somehow...
Don't know about superior... faster maybe. Its the newer Spectra heads vs. the Konica Minolta 512 heads thats currently in the models.
Will depend on what your business model is... If you are cranking out a ton of coro signs - then the new one is for you, but if you are doing alot of backlits...
My grandmother had one "installed" when she was 75 and she lived an active life til 93...
You're "buying time" - but every day sounds like it would be worth it for you.
Good luck.
If you are doing 4 color prints and applying them to coro - you will get priced out of the work pretty quickly by almost anyone with a flatbed or screen capabilities (if quantities are high enough). $8 for a 18x24 is well above market price around here. Your cost for 4x8 sheet of coro is .25 a...
Are you going to concentrate solely on the racing world? If so in this area - you best be prepared to not make a whole lot of cash. There are 5 or 6 major vendors who have the NASCAR market tied up (remember there is a finite number of cars available) and any of the lesser teams or lower classs...
