we did purchase one and it's shipping tomorrow so i should have it early next week and hopefully be set up and trained by the end of the week. i think you have to first find the machine that works for what you want to do then you have to find the one that does what you want and you can afford...

not sure if this helps but...on our roland machines i run static cling with the clear vinyl profile and my heat/dryer are both set at 40 sometimes depending on the quality of the artwork i have to use the high quality print setting for a better print(ccuts out any banding)

we have used digital design warehouse in the past with good results but i always like to go see the vehicle live and take pics and measurements my self then i will just use that for my template

maybe the bag has a coating that won't allow the glue to stick. i would check that first because you shouldn't have an issue sticking a pressue sentetive vinyl to a plastic bag. i would use oracal 3651 if for some odd reason that didn't work avery makes a hi-tac vinyl that i use for low surface...

our tops are formica so they get cut marks and will have to replace someday but they are about 5 years old and still ok (try not to cut too much on them most of the time it is just cutting apart sheets as they come out of the laminator)

from previous experiences i have to agree with gary don't lam. have had issues with edges curling twice and finally got it to work with 3m EDGE SEALING TAPE and also still globbed some 3M edge sealer around the edges. the last one i did i had to re-do because they couldn't see out the window so...

depending on the customer you should be able to go at least 2-3x your cost + shipping also allowing for any kind of mistake or re-do that could cost you later on
