Wrapping is not as easy as it may appear. We love it when clients say they will install themselves to save money. Always end up buying a second order and having us install it.
Take a class.
You know what. I'm actually really pissed at 3M for this.
I wanted a new car.. But now I'm also having hate for the dealerships as well. I really want a GTR but.. Nissan? They are involved in this crap too.
Because Oracal backs their product. Lol
For those now using Oracal.. Take advantage of their OCS warranty certification. You must print a sample on their media, laminate and ship back to them for lab testing with a provided file. This gives you a manufacturer backed warranty.
Ya... We know. Now the dealerships think they can make money on used car wraps too..
"Hey, buy one more van and we will finance in wraps on the other 50 you already own"
Thanks OW...
Not.
nope.. I've lost plenty of jobs to dealerships.. It blows. In fact.. Did a bid within the last 2 weeks for a ton of nissans.
.. Dealer must have outbid me.
In a way..
No matter what you decide to do.. The client will think they paid for the "graphic".
Technically it's true.
Flatten it and send them a Tiff. The layered artwork "file" is your intellectual property. It contains trade secrets (and fonts licensed to you only) that you can not release.
Wow. Looks like a winner. And even has white/metallic/light black ink combos. 9 colors!
Nobody will be able to touch these greys!
