Ink Drain Artbot is right, unless you are using bulk ink. Bulk ink reqires that ink levels be just right or else you push ink into the head with too much back pressure.

Chips Pretty sure you will need chips but those printers just need to see a chip. They don't look for dates or write back to them like some printers.

Heads It will not hurt to flush, and you should flush if you are not using OEM inks. My heads do not need to be flushed if you are using OEM inks

strip In the end the strip will need to be parrallel with the bar that the cutting assy rides on. If there are low spots the blade will not cut through when it hits that spot. Put a straight edge on the area the strip goes and see if it has any gaps

Damper If only the cyan is not pulling through it may be time to change the cyan damper. Are you in Douglas wy? I have those dampers in Denver if you need them

Flush Get a syringe that you can hook up to some flexible hose (2mm ID) Load up some cleaning fluid and gently push it through each of the eight nipples on the manifold. Flush until you see a clear stream of fluid, you can then push out the fluid with air.
