We do a fair amount of contour cutting as shown but cut twice one to just cut the vinyl as normal . second a perf cut to cut the backing sheet
Very high ink load on to a air release vinyl can't comment on the lam but don't seam like a match it's adding up to problem
Your machine using different ink and profile may account for some of the difference

If I remember most of these have a high total ink limit which can be altered in colour rip around 250 ish

If u have a sc540 with a control box mounted on top of the machine with pxr4 controller it should have a serial type connector on the rear.
this connects to the thermistor under the middle of the bed and the mother board as the motherboard turns the heater unit on and off before and after...
Under the later firmware it doesn't do it as much
under sub menu ink control you can force it to do it when you like
I normally do this 3 times a week on top of what it does when you are not looking.
And shake the carts now and again don't wait for it to ask you to.
