In background settings.
Initial blade control sets where the tick is done. Can't remember it being 3mm though
The cut starting in the wrong part of the loop I would have thought to be the driver. When I digitise in corel I start the loop and go in the direction I want the knife to go...
Just had similar problems which was a faint blue mist and similar test pattern.
Your black don't look to healthy either you could do as I did new head to black and the black head to the lt cyan redo the head rank. The deflected nossel s don't show up so bad in the lt colours.
Sorry you are still struggling 50 attempts is a bit silly
they
are a long way out so.
is the first cut in the right place then miss cuts.
As said you must prove the system with the pen stop wasting materials.
As I said in post no 6 don't use centre on media
I have a vs and the cut is...
If using versaworks do not use centre on media and a small eps boarder should be set.
The dealer that installed the machine should have tested the alignment and left it perfect.
been using colourrip for years with my sc540 and to my knowledge it cant be done like it is in versaworks.
i can do it on the graphtecs cos its a plotter setting and on the VS540 through versaworks but not as you ask
so i said
If the pad is not fully pressed then it's not tripped over to the cross cutter so the solenoid acts on the vinyl cutting part not the cross cutter.
this happened to my fc7000, the same selonoid opperates the vinyl blade as well as the cross cutter as the head goes all the way...
don't know about summas but with reflective in my older graphtec i have to hide the front edge with a strip of application tape for it to set up.
just a guess remove a half inch strip of the black around the edge so the sensors see the white backing paper not black vinyl.
i follow summa print...
If the cross cutter mechanism is the same as early ones as the head goes to the far left the silver bar that sticks out acts against a pad in side the head unit. If the pad is not fully pressed then it's not tripped over to the cross cutter so the solenoid acts on the vinyl cutting part not the...
A flat feed path will cure a lot of your problems but a flat bed cutter will cure all inc cutting the backing as well. If you serious about it a flatbed it is.
nice plotter though.
my guess is that there is a hidden layer or group.
copy a bad logo in to a new file and pick it apart to check what outlines are on each bit.
perhaps when the cut path was created it was sill grouped or not seperated.
its not the actual colour of the cutpath its the name that is reconised in...
Some good information thank you.
I have a Roland pro 2 combined with colourrip and a really excellent profile that prints photos very faithfully. But my vs with vw will print the same file with the colours compressed - poor shadows and blown out high lites. The physical print quality is very...
Imo versaworks is to dedicated to hi impact graphics leading to these photo problems.
Yet to find a good setup in vw that can equal what I am aftr.
things not helping you are only a 4 colour system and sign and display which is compress ing the colour range even more.
Yes
would want a dam good exclamation to go with it.
Op you say the media bunches towards one roller. Possibly indicating un equal roller pressure. Acceleration too high. Poor blade and or holder
guess this material is quite tough or thick so may need a flat feed path not bending over...
This should not be a problem.
Check the pinch rollers are equal pressure some are adjustable.
Some summas you can slow the acceleration and the pen up speed as well as the cut speed.
Quite often cut security strips for Windows lots of 5mm strips on a Roland or graphtec and would expect a...
I would much like a edge but don't like the after sales mentality from spandex. So I looked hard at the summa. I rated it not very good for what I wanted.
I have a pc60 so now what thermal is about. Just use different machines to their strengths
