hi Jason yes the 7000 has it under conditions but can be set as required in cutting master. Neil on my 7000 i have a felt cutting strip as the blades are damaged as they turn through 90 deg on a normal cutting strip. graphtec uk supply it but i understand the the US people no nothing of it...

there are 2 print to cut adjustments. 1 print then cut no crop marks in the normal menu. 2 cut alignment to crop marks normally in the service menu. woolly

if you are sure that there is no mechanical problem, i find that the damaged cutting strip can cause that. all so watch the vinyl as its being cut to see that it remains flat if it buckles slightly then it will not join correctly. woolly

do you allow the printer to pull the roll or do you unroll some slack every now and again while printing. that type of print problem can be caused by static as you unroll some slack. then it returns to normal printing again until you roll a bit more out. woolly

it is one of the best cutters built. mine is 10 years old used every day as a cutter, as a printer its rubbish and has not printed anything in the last 6 years woolly

on my fc7000 i bought a cheap roland blade holder off ebay and made a sleeve to make it fit. this allows you to fit the holder higher in the mounting so the blade clears the material whilst moving between cuts. woolly

Jason its a known problem with some contours to many arc nodes close together. if you just draw a circle does it do the same woolly

just from experience that if a control Handel is outside the normal file boundary can cause problems like this. placing the graphic in the middle of a page cured it. don't understand it other than it cured the problem that time. woolly

i would have thought that if the first few are ok then the alignment is ok. do a environment check and retry some materials prefer the heaters off whilst cutting if all else fails print with reg marks then align to reg marks and cut. this will allow for material dimensional stability. or lack...

thats what happened to mine there may be a reset that leaves the language alone. so looking at the menu tree guessed my way to the language change woolly

i am with bobm love mine, about 11 years old, but you have to have a use for small stuff, it still adds to the co profit each month. i have solvent and laser printers but the pc60 does what they cant. do not try to use it for pictures etc. small spot colour stuff is where its at. woolly
