using the next key with a arrow key causes the head or vinyl to move at about 12" /sec, i can not see a way of adjusting that. are you saying it moving quicker or about that. if the vinyl is very heavy then it may cause a overload alarm.
I have a vs. with white and solid it is not but more than adequate. excellent for spot backing up colours on clear.

its a robin hood 3a all stainless chassis half the price of a caterham. admit it does not handle quite as well but just. fine as a fast tourer.

print uni directional should cure that at the cost of time, else slow the head down, if that is black print its not rich enough.

yes converted my fc7000 for flat cutting of difficult materials makes a real difference. then a fc2250 came up at the right price, could not resist it.

bit worrying can't find it, I didn't give it a quick try with the fc7000 driver seamed to work. must be in graphtec language not hpgl.
wheels are the same as my fc7000 and the roland. so if you have found some standard ones should be ok.
i have a jx1160 still running as a cutter beautifully.
i will find some old rollers and compare to the FC i think they are the same. i presume the pins are missing as well,
i can't find the driver either so will have a look for the last download OPS??? it will only work on XP i think.
