    Paint mask is very expensive for something you are going to throw away in the end. I would either do as OP suggested and hand paint it, or if you must use a mask, you can use something like oracal 631.

    The only adhesive backed paper I know of that can be printed on a Eco sol max printer is made by Roland. But there is no real price advantage to it over standard vinyl.

    I don't like ACM for this particular application because I find ACM very easy to dent, especially around the edges, and that usually causes sharp bit that can cut someone. if i'm putting it in an area whenre kids are playing, we always put an edge cap on it.

    Lol! We've gone up against him more times than I can count, almost every time we loose the job due to him designing, producing and installing the job for pretty much the cost of the substrate. Oh well some of his clients end up here a few months later when his crap fails.
  19. Anyone print PVC banners with Roland printers?

    We print quite a few on our vs-540 and after a few hours to dry the inks are very durable, we can flip them face down on our table to hem them, sometimes we forget to wipe down the table first, but never had a scratch.

    3-5 years seems excessive to me, i don't think you will find anyone offering a warranty that long, even using the best materials on the market.
