    The encoder strip is clear and runs along the rail. Clean it with a soft cloth and 50/50 % mix of iso/h20 or 100% iso Should fix the problem.

    How large or small are the pieces? An Acrylic scoring tool works well with short lengths. Score along a straight edge ruler a few times and snap off your piece.

    The thumbnail is a representation of what it will look from a distance... illegible I think your going in the right direction but need to work on it a bit.. Your text needs to be larger and mirror smaller. Everything is too dark, lots of contrast issues.
