There is way to many adjustments in signlab.
Signlab is no good for printing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cadlink are no help as it is way to difficult to understand and set up.
I remember being at a sign show in the UK about 4 years ago and I was ranting about Signlabs RIP.
Little did I know the guy...
He He " Vinyl Bandit"
Mind you starting a post "hi can anyone recommend a good printer, for vinyl printing??"
This certainly doesn't inspire confidence in his new business.
It's easy being a signmaker......NOT
Maybe buy some seeds of Bob!?

Can I just add my bit into this.
Signlab sucks big time at printing.
We had Signlab 6.0, 7.0 and finally 7.1 and in the end I gave up and now our Valuejet runs on Wasatch without an issue.
Signlab is way way to complicated for us signmakers.
I see no reason that we should have to profile our...
Do you have a desktop printer?
Knock it off.
I have a friend with a JV3 and a JV33 and neither of them communicate when the desktop printer is on.
Once a year our Valuejet vanishes from the network for upto 3 days and then it just reappears!
Try leaving all the machines on over the new year and...
Sorry nothings better than high quality artwork.
I have tried blowing stuff up and there comes a time that all it is doing is filling the blanks in with stuff that is not really there.

It most definitely isn't a media alignment problem.
All I can think is if the media is properly aligned it will put extra pressure on the x axis and this small amount of pressure may move the encoder.
You are lucky with still just having to realign the media but over time it will get...
I have had to throw couples out of my office for argueing over a design!!!!
I made a wonderful logo for a company but when the wife saw it "it wasn't fenshui"!!!!
Fenshui "get a grip" the redsigned ticked all her boxes and looked awful.

I'm contour cutting on our mutoh this morning!!!
I have the same problem but I have found that it is the bright sunlight effecting the sensor registration.
Have you a bright light source on your plotter?

I was going to message you before Christmas but it got a bit mad here.
You will probably find that it is not just the encoder wheel but where it's situated in the sensor.
I have found that in the centre of the encoder disc there is a modification which is probably not fitted to yours (it...
I made an inventory of stock many years ago over a period of about 8 months.
Every time it came back that a roll was 2-3 Metres (UK 50 Metre Rolls) Short!!
I thought that maybe it was a discrepancy on my part but I got to checking more accurately and found no fault on my end.
In the end I...
I find the designing has to be taken into consideration for pricing a lot on wraps.
More so than normal graphics as there is so much time spent making it fit.
Also find out how much the customer has in there pocket as so many of them are dreamers!!! Believe me when I say I had a guy wanting a...
Looking like I'll be working up till the eve and back in on the 27th....
I have 2 large wraps in over 28-31 and I'm fighting for material and inks.
I have had 2 Ebenezer Scrooges in my office already this morning.
Bah Humbug.
Miserable B*****ds
Merry Christmas All
Have a good one

What are you cutting?
I cut some window etch on our mutoh which was just over 8' long but because of all the lines from side to side it was impossible to keep straight. It was outside the capabilities of a friction fed plotter! Is this what you are doing?

We tell customers to pay up front in full or 50% and on day of completion in full.
I've lost way too much money over the years.
Friends and family all money up front. They're the worst payers.
Get someone to pick bits of the graphics especially opening times and phone numbers....
I fitted a...
