Which inkset are you going with? We went with LUS170 CMYKlclm and LUS200 WW. Happy with the unit so far (print quality and speed is awesome) but need to get some proper profiles made for onyx so we don't have to deal with Rasterlink anymore. Man....I guess I was spoiled with Versaworks...

Just try something like Generic Vinyl - High Quality 720x1440dpi and see what it looks like. Anything with high resolution/pass count should do the trick as a starting point.

Will do! We're really excited to get this thing up and running. Also upgraded everything in the shop over to Onyx Thrive 19 and finally got an i1, so lots of big changes. My brain hurts already but it's going to make for an interesting couple of weeks.

Man is that ever a weird PDF. Wayne beat me to it, was gonna say there are some weird security things happening there. It's also editable in Acrobat Pro without even going into Edit Mode. I tried importing into Corel and just shows a blank box that links back to the PDF when you click on it...

Thanks Pauly. Waiting for someone from X-Rite to give me a call back with pricing on both options. Based on what I saw online Publish is 3x the cost of the Basic so I suppose I have to decide if the added features are worth the added expense. Hopefully they can shed some light on that.
