but doesn't want to spend a lot of money
haven't met to many that do...haha
i agree with gino and i would think parts and labor for a sign that size won't be cheap no matter how you do it (sign boards, hinge handle, screws and chain for the sides, some sort of foot or capping for the...
two things i said like above:
must be a phone provider scam or someone who works for them because who has access to the info and who else would benefit from this.
also i would imagine most people don't check this stuff because there are somany pages and so many taxes and so on. 99% of the...
i was thinking that also but that would just rip the back of the release liner paper, i don't think that would take the ink off.
that's a wierd one.
we stack our the same way you did and then we bag them, box them and ship no issues (not like that anyway)
not sure why but we noticed this month that our 800# charges went from $5.00 or less to $60 so we were checking the numbers that called. on a full sheet 8.5 x 11 of numbers only 3 were good all the others were out of service. after talking with the phone company apparently people can scramble...
i used the correct, optically clear lam. after i did the job i poked my head in the window and looked out, looked ok to me. customer wears glasses so i don't know?. didn't cost me anything to do it over again so if that's what he wants so be it.
dry and i just did one with out lam by customer request. i did it with lam and he said he couldn't see out the back so he pulled the lam off leaving adhesive on the print and all the dirt stuck to it then when he tried to clean it off came the ink. he paid for the re-do but he claims he can see...
you should try and get some red paper stock and run it on your mimaki. we print on colored material on our rolands all the time with good results as long at the material is light enough and based on your pic you should be fine. since it was crap before and they were ok with it it should be ok...
+1
a job that large i would get a quote from stouse sometimes it's cheaper for them to do it than what it would cost in material, time, labor for you to do it
that's great if you can handle all that technical stuuf and tony and fred are the guru's no doubt( i think they bleed gerber...haha)
good luck either way
if all of the above doesn't work you need a tech to check it out. we have had our plotter for about 10 years and like fred said it works like a tank, it's been through many wars..haha. but i had a similar issue once that all the cleaning and lubing didn't cure it and i don't know what they did...
did a search and didn't get what i was looking for.
my daughters softball team needs t-shirts only about 15 so it's not a big order mostly large and xL amybe 1 or 2 XXL
black with red logo on the front ( i will supply artwork) and a number on the back
