Experimenting and noticed that if I do not have a gap and the boxes touch I am unable to move them individually after clipping them. 6 boxes touches each other. select all and ctrl 8 to make compound path, then select all and ctrl 7. each box is now connected and I cant move them around...

Lol, Thanks for the help. By not using the compound path tool it would only ever do 1 box at a time. Much appreciated. As for multiple artboards I have never used more than one. Maybe I will play around with this option too. Thanks again

Not sure if this is possible or what the easiest way to do it is. I seem to struggle with it. Lets say you have 4 panels 8"x8" each (rectangle paths) and you need these rectangles to all be lined up next to each other with a gap of like 2" between them. You then have a 50"x50" image or vector...

Personally I would never use a laminator that has a slit in the roller.....especially the top roller. I am almost 100% positive it will leave a line in the print/lamination and this would show in car wraps or any for that matter.

For what its worth, I have had our 8600 for a year now and have nothing but problems with the accuracy when using crop marks also. I cant cut more than 20" of material before it gets off track and cuts like ****.

My 8600 has decided it will not cross cut. The head goes through the motions but the knife never comes down to cut it and then it displays Error E05005. EDIT: Problem solved. I am blind................

I have a xc-540 and since day 1 I have ALWAYS held the front power button down until the machine shuts down. Never had any problems like this. The machine will auto turn on once a day and run a bit of ink through the lines. Again, never had a problem doing this in 4 years.
